Background Story:
Spades’ brothers and himself are big time gamblers and live in an old apartment building next to a casino in the Demanien City. Spades was a very skillful swordsman with a katana. They mostly won their bets, but they were sometimes caught cheating and had to pay a price. Spades was going to give up gambling until he met Dread. He was gambling a few rounds and was found cheating and was about to get killed. Spades and his brothers helped him escape for they had experience in running away after being found out. After Dread and the Gambler Bros. were out of trouble, Dread promised that he would repay them. Nearly a year passed by and Dread finally came by to pay his debt, but he wasn’t the same. His payment was a vile of demon DNA and injected it into The Gambler Bros’ DNA and they were made into demonic gamblers. Since they became demons, they couldn’t stop cheating or be caught cheating either. Like Dread and his brothers, they are also hard to kill and can with stand severe beatings.
Group Attacks/ Power-Ups:
Ace High Straight (Needs Dread’s or Grieve’s help) - The Gambler Bros. and Dread (or Grieve) set up a team attack that sends the enemy high up and then straight down. Dread throws the enemy high in the air and the Gambler Bros. blast it high up, then Spades flies up and stabs his sword straight through the foe to the ground.
Four of a Kind- The Gambler Bros. draw from their decks, that each has been separated into their own suit, and if they draw the same card, then their power is increased by that number (Jack, Queen, King, and Ace count as 10).
Dice Crush- The Gambler Bros. draw out a die each and roll them, the number rolled is equal to how much their power is multiplied by. Then they roll them one more time and the dice grow humongous and crush the enemy, one die after the other (like a tower).
Isolation Attacks:
*Whenever the Gambler Bros. are separated, their attack is quadrupled. They can’t use the special group attacks whenever separated.*
Slice ‘n Dice- Spade uses his katana and keeps slashing at the enemy till he is worn out.
Fists of Furry- Hearts continually attacks the enemy with his fist 'till he is worn out, even if they're dead.
Diamond Dust- Diamonds strikes the enemy with diamond blasts repeatedly at a fast pace till he is tired, but stops when they're killed.
Rowdy Riot- Clubs starts acting crazy and starts to create a riot around him and the enemy gets confused, but while they’re confused, he attacks till he is completely exhausted.
Personalities:
Slashing Spades- Since he’s the oldest, he has to take care of his younger brothers and make sure they don’t get in trouble. Since he can fly and has masterful sword skills he takes advantage of both abilities and will use them simultaneously. He is also very mature and rarely becomes careless.
Hateful Hearts- He is sometimes struck with anger and will lash out against anyone, even though he is under control of it. He doesn’t use any weapons, for his fists are his weapons.
Crazy Clubs- After being turned into a demon, he has been very fond of his powers and sometimes goes completely insane. His insanity helps him in fights since his speed and powers increase phenomenally.
Demon Diamonds- He was called Dashing Diamonds until he figured it was stupid to have a rhyming name with his brother. He likes to act mature and like a gentlemen instead of a mad beast like his two insane brothers.
Aura:
Disturbing- this aura causes a crowd to just stop and stare at anyone with this aura. All the Gambler Bros. have it, so they get a little pissed off, too.
Traits:
All have symbols on their chests indicating a suit of a deck of cards. They all have red and black fur as well as black and red gloves & shoes. They’re able to control the outcome of any normal gambling game. To save their friends or each other, they'll gamble their lives.
Ultimate Abilities:
Ace of Spades- Spades' ultimate attack. If drawn and used correctly, it can automatically kill his opponent.
Bluff- Their overall ultimate attack, which consumes them of all of their energy. They will claim to use a special move, but change it when their enemy calls it a "bluff." This makes them use their individual techniques simultaneously. If the enemy believes them, then they will trap their enemy in a cube and roll it. The huge dice must land on a 4 or higher to take effect, in which case it shrinks until it crushes the opponent. If not, then the enemy is released.
Gambler's Veil- Instead of using an attack, the brothers run circles around their enemy in an illusion. They can only see the suits of the cards while they're attacked relentlessly. They don't feel any pain until the illusion has worn off.
Items:
Dice- Each Gambler Bros. has a die that they can roll to attack with.
Deck of Cards- They each have a deck of cards indicating the suit on their chests.
Spade’s katana- Slashing Spades holds a katana that he uses in battle and it has a spade symbol on the sides of the handles.

Edit: Taaaa daaaaaa! I'm finally finished updating all of my char's profiles. Now you can see the original design of The Gambler Bros. , too. Man, this one took forever. And if you're going to say they resemble Grieve or Sorrow, remember, I made these guys before Dread's brothers. They're looks are just a coincidence. |
